This course introduces students to a broad range of photographic concepts, camera and image making techniques. Both analogue (film) and digital technologies are introduced in line with the visual arts and photographic industry.
Training Day and Time(s):
Wednesday: 4.30pm – 7.30pm
Thursday: 8.45am – 3.30pm
It is an advantage to have access to a 35mm SLR camera however cameras, tripods, alternative lenses and various accessories are available for student loan. Students must be prepared to complete required homework each week.
Students will be expected to purchase their own photographic paper, film, negative sleeves and mount boards. All of these supplies are available from the Marden Bookroom at very competitive costs.
Completion of this course may lead to Tertiary Study at University or TAFE, a traineeship or employment in the Photographic Industry.
