(For completion of a full qualification in CUA31015 Certificate III in Screen and Media, it is essential to complete both 3D Character Design & Digital Effects and Thursday Game Design short courses)
An introduction into 3D modelling and 3D animation using 3D Maya. This course guides students through the analytical and technical process of creating 3D creatures, environments and the animation principles using current industry standard applications. Students create a creature, environment and short 3D animation which could be used for their portfolio.
Training Day and Time(s):
Wednesday: 4.30 pm – 7.30 pm
Students are required to be confident in using computers. Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator is not required but recommended.
This certificate reflects the role of a skilled operator within the Digital Media industry. With completion of Certificate III in Screen and Media (Thursday component) it may lead to further study in Certificate IV in Screen and Media, courses in Digital Media, Interactive Media, Game Art and Visual Effects.
