Students undertaking this course will gain basic and fundamental knowledge about Film and VFX (Visual Effects). Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition and Maya will be used in conjunction with filming to develop, edit and create videos with effects and more. Students will also touch on Industry standard software Nuke and Houdini.
Training Day and Time(s):
Wednesday: 4.30pm – 7.30pm
Thursday: 8.45am – 3.30pm
Students are required to be confident in using computers and must be prepared to complete work at home when required.
Upon completion of the Certificate III in Screen and Media there may be pathways into Tertiary education in SA and abroad. Further study may lead to entry level job titles including Paint & Roto artist, Matchmover/Tracking Artist and roles like Compositor, Production Assistant, VFX Assistant and Digital Artist Assistant.
