This is a course for students interested in developing 3D artworks and exploring the areas of contemporary sculpture, assemblage and installation. Students develop theory and practical skills, before undertaking their own personal experimentation. The initial skill development enables them to produce a product that reflects a personal idea or theme.

This course has little to no prerequisite skill requirement (although completion of semester 1 2D Creative Arts is an advantage).
It provides a SACE only pathway as well as good preparation for SACE Stage 2 Creative Arts – Visual Art subject, Certificate III in Visual Arts – Painting and Drawing and Certificate III in Design Fundamentals courses.
