Course Overview
Students investigate how people lived in the ancient world by examining evidence of the social, political, cultural, and/or economic institutions and structures. They explore the influence of some of the ideas, myths and innovations that emerged from ancient Australia and Greece as well as warfare and conquest in ancient Greece. Students apply their inquiry skills to research and analyse primary and secondary sources and perspectives. They consider the authentication, preservation, ownership and display of material and artefacts from the ancient world.

Further Information
Stage 1 Ancient Studies is a pathway to Stage 2 Ancient Studies, however it is not a prerequisite.
