On the 21 of September 2017, Marden Senior College will be conducting an event to mark our 25-year anniversary. The day will consist of an open afternoon, where past and current students and staff, previous Principals and the general public are invited to tour the college and participate in activities. The open afternoon is scheduled from 2-4pm.
The Open Day will showcase Marden Senior College now and in the past. Visitors will be invited to walk around the college, view current lessons and student work on display as well as a showcase of information and artefacts from the past. There will also an opportunity to contribute to a time capsule to be stored for similar celebrations in the future, such as a 50th anniversary in 2042.
The purpose of the Open Day is to bring the Marden community together – past and present staff and students. It will also provide an opportunity for surrounding residents to take a ‘look behind the fence’ and for prospective students and their families to see the school in action.
