Parent ‘Meet the Mentor & Teacher’ Evening

Thursday 25 February, 5pm to 6pm

At Marden Senior College we value our partnerships with family and caregivers and recognise that these positive connections support students to flourish as learners.  The ‘Meet the Mentor & Teacher Evening’ is an opportunity for parent/caregivers to meet and greet your student’s teachers and mentor and to discuss how we can work together to support your student to achieve their SACE.

Your student has been allocated a mentor if they undertake the majority of their study at Marden Senior College. The mentor is a main contact person at the College for students and parents who will support the student and also monitor attendance and academic progress.

To support the logistical requirements and advice from SA Health please confirm your attendance here.

There will be an opportunity early in Term 2 for formal parent/teacher meetings to discuss student progress and information will be communicated closer to the date.

In line with the most recent COVID-19 Update received from the Department for Education regarding guidelines for school events:
“ceremonies held off-site at private venues are now capped at 100”.

We have regretfully made the decision to cancel the 2020 Marden Senior College Presentation Ceremony.
This decision was not taken lightly but due to the restrictions on gatherings it is unable to proceed.

Our congratulations go out to all graduating students and those receiving an academic award. All certificates will be mailed out in due course.

We wish students all the best for your future and thank them for their contribution to Marden Senior College.

Due to an unforeseen issue occurring on a statewide basis, the SACE Board electronic exam system for the Psychology exam became inaccessible.

According to the SACE Board, all students will receive a derived result for the exam.
